Type of run: Track workout- 15 min warm up,5 focal strides, 4 x 200m pace setting, then 2 sets of 800m, 600, 400, 200 5 min rest in between sets
Time: we kept on pace for 40-41 second 200's throughout
Description: It was a brisk but comfortable pace through out. We were all very consistent. We did descend our times in the second set a little bit. It was barely more than one or two seconds except on the last 400m.
Additional notes: My calves felt a little sore. I felt the soreness in my back less than my legs. My heart rate was good I ate enough all day. The girls basically ran the same times as us for the 600 and the 400 and 200. But we were not pushing ourselves. fully submerged bottom half in ice bath after stretching
Result: confident, cold, and wet. Went to hasbrouck to eat taco Tuesday and enjoyed it for once.
