Type of run: Intermittent Adventures in a moderate e-pace run
Time: ~40:00 Running we did a decent amount of trail blazing
Description: We parked at the Mohonk overcliff parking lot. we ran overcliff for 4:40 then went up the back of the cliffs. We carved our own trails. WE all got scraped up. Alex and I saw a 5 foot long black snake. on the way down. It took us approximately 30 mins to get up and down. Then we continued down overcliff. Then we ran to giants path and scrambled up the path. Rob Alex and I saw the awesome view too. Nick was being a bitch nd didnt want to climb because"it involved heights" You could see the little hill behind overcliff that we had to go up then down and up again to get to the cliffs. We could see gertrudes nose we could see minnewaska. It was an awesome view. then we ran down old minnewaska trail to split rock. Alex and I hung out in back. We took our time down the nasty trail. The water felt so good on the legs. everybody else went underwater completely. I didn't want to freeze. Luckily Nicks friends were still waiting and they went and got their car from the cliffs parking lot(they came in a separate car). They drove us to our parked car.
Result: fun times were had adventuring and trail blazing. I finally got to climb up to the cliffs.
Notes: Feel happy I got up there finally. My body feels great.
